‘Our mission is to inspire conservation through the fusion of music, storytelling, and visual art, highlighting the endangered Black-faced Spoonbills and the Mai Po Nature Reserve. We aim to deepen the audience’s connection to nature and drive commitment to wildlife protection by presenting classical music unconventionally.’

- Sharon Andrea Choa, Conductor, Music and Artistic Director of Young Pro Platform.

The Black-faced Spoonbill, an endangered East Asian bird with a global population of only 6,162, faces severe threats from habitat destruction and pollution due to human activities. Key wintering sites like Hong Kong’s Mai Po are crucial for their survival. WWF’s management of Mai Po Nature Reserve is vital for preserving this species’ habitat.
